Hope Stands Renewed!

The Lord Shines his light on me
and i don't understand why
I have seen a fraction of my life
and now know what he meant when it was said "i am the worst of all sinners"
The Lord has revealed some sin
he has shown me a part of my pride
A pride not found in Him but in me
And I don't understand why he shines His light on me

All i know is that they call it grace
and i call it awesome!
His song comes to me
His word springs up in my heart
and it tastes good in my mouth
it reveals my sin
but by the grace of God it turns me away
from a life covered in death
towards a death covered in life

The more he reveals. The more death I see.
The more i cry out for Him to redeem me
Burn me with a Holy Fire
so that i might live a life ablaze

Let me turn into a Redeemed pyre
And let me spread wildly so that others might experience
The life i experience
Let them catch fire
Let them burn that Holy Burn
Feel the pain of giving up a life of sin
and the Joy of receiving a life of redemption
a life of ever increasing Freedom

We welcome you
We call you Groom
You are our King
You alone are Good

We worship you
We sing your praise
we see your face
a face of love

The fire of passion burns in you
The love of Christ
Willing to go to the extreme
just to see one lost lamb saved

One lamb who said all his life "no"
until the very moment he was saved
until that moment he was rescued
from his wretched bondage

We love you lord
We worship you
a hope which was lost
is found in you!

All that was lost
Now Stands RENEWED
We surrender it all
To Christ our KING!

Dirty rags and all
